The breakfast at Ivy Hill was absolutely sensational—talk about a top-notch culinary experience! The cooked breakfast options, slightly on the greasy side, hit the spot every morning! Plus, the restaurant vibe really stood out, with attentive staff making meals feel special.

We felt really disappointed with our stay. The room presented as ‘executive’ was anything but. dirty towels tossed on the bed and a filthy carpet won’t cut it. With bits of furniture falling apart and a broken TV remote, we wondered if we were in the wrong place.

The breakfast staff provided excellent service and were very attentive.

Our room's shower had a very low water pressure, making it frustrating to use.

Had a great getaway with friends! We visited Stock Brook Country Club and Bentley Golf Club, both fantastic spots! The staff were super friendly, and breakfast had a great selection. The garden views were lovely for our photos. Definitely recommend this place for a chill weekend with your mates.

This hotel suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi in public areas, 24-hour reception, and a bar lounge area. I fondly remember how the staff assisted me with currency exchange on my first visit. Highly recommend! I’ll be back for my business trip.

The grounds of this hotel are lovely and the staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. the room had a few issues like outdated decor and a shower with weak pressure. Breakfast was decent, but overall, I found it a bit overpriced for what was offered.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a relaxing getaway. the bathroom could use some updates to enhance the overall experience.

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning and appreciated the friendly staff who made my stay enjoyable, and being so close to both Hylands House and Chelmsford Museum meant I could explore some beautiful gardens and learn about local history without needing to travel far at all.

I stayed in the Executive Queen Room for a night and it was stunning! The decor was so romantic and decadent, I loved every bit of it. Super comfy bed—definitely the best night's sleep I've had in a hotel. Everything was clean and well-maintained too. No fridge in the room, but it wasn't a big deal. loved my stay and the vibe of the room!

wow, this hotel made our wedding weekend sooo special! the staff were super friendly, especially lauren and libby. the honeymoon suite was stunning and the breakfast was outta this world! bartellas restaurant was a cool place for our group dinner, and lorna was just amazing! they even helped us with some complimentary snacks!

only downsides were a bit noisy at night from other guests and the room was a tad warm. coulda used a fan for comfort.

Would definitely recommend for a transient stop
